33rd INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON ARCHAEOMETRY

    GENERAL
    The Archaeometry symposium was held for the first time in the Netherlands and the symposium has been a stimulus for the development of archaeological science in the Netherlands. The local organizing committee was pleased to meet a large number of colleagues in Amsterdam.

    The symposium was organized by the Vrije Universiteit (VU) in Amsterdam and the Rijksdienst voor het Oudheidkundig Bodemonderzoek (ROB, National Institute for Archaeological Heritage Management) in Amersfoort.

    SESSIONS
    The symposium has had seven sessions (no parallel sessions). Six of them were regular, while a seventh theme session was selected by the local organizing committee. An afternoon break with an excursion was planned in the middle of the symposium. See "Symposium" in menu for details on the sessions and excursion.
