To celebrate my father's upcoming 60th birthday, we all gathered in Beekbergen for the first weekend of July. The next weekend Alex and Jenny visited from Munich.

Beekbergen: a family gathering

July 4-6, 2003

On Saturday we went to the Apenheul monkey-zoo, and on Sunday we cycled a bit. But mainly just a quiet weekend together.

Alex and Jenny in Bern

July 11-13, 2003

On Saturday we hiked from Schynige Platte to First, and on Sunday we walked around Bern. Wim, Alex and Jenny couldn't resist floating down the Aare river.
