Collision and accretion in the Mongolian Altai and Darib range

Fieldwork was carried out in the summer of 2001, when I was a visiting scientist at the Geophysical Laboratory, Carnegie Institution of Washington, USA. We are currently working on our samples and preparing papers.
In collaboration with Arjan Dijkstra, now at Curtin University of Technology in Perth, Australia, with Dickson Cunningham, Sarah Davies, and James Howard of Leicester University, and G. Badarch of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences.
