My research activities are in the field of upheavals in Earth history. I do active research in on the consequences of the Chicxulub impact on the peninsula of Yucatan at Cretaceous Tertiary boundary time.

Other research topics include:

Biotic effects on foraminifers following the K/T boundary impact. Cyclostratigraphy Maastrichtian-Paleogene

Impacts and tsunami deposits in the Gulf of Mexico at K/Pg time, impact-tsunami deposits, Pilbara, Australia and other suspected offshore tsunamites.


Watch for poisonous mushrooms (Boletus satanas)
